Man. I love how it gets messy as it gets darker and how that makes the eye amble about the whole thing. It makes for very distinct and eye-catching spots all over. I love the lights and the hills way in the back. Also the darker spots look like another picture trying the bleed through into the foreground. Awesome stuff man.

Thanks again...Yeah, it really is place loaded with some weird energy, and considering how much I'm impressed with that area I'll probably do another one or two.

this reminds me of turner, "the burning of the houses of parliament," with the colors, fluidity and what ~pseudomnemonic said about the bleeding of the shapes into one another like another picture coming through. i love the emotion and thought behind it, especially the red lights throughout :heart:

thanks for the nice comment! it kinda is justified by the fact that i love turner's way of painting and it was real joy reading about him this year when we studied him and period of art he (didn't) belonged to. and as for bleeding, it can be said it's some kind of despair lot of people here feel for older looks of belgrade, which got erased trough bombings and mindless reconstruction.
